Purchase of own shares
Compass Group PLC announces that on 24 February 2016 it purchased 25,000 ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each at a price of 1224.8574 pence per share through Barclays Capital Securities Limited.
Compass Group PLC intends to hold the purchased ordinary shares in treasury.
Following the above transaction, Compass Group PLC holds 12,565,212 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,644,212,170 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
