Purchase of own shares
Compass Group PLC announces that on 9 March 2016 it purchased 25,000 ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each at a price of 1214.6177 pence per share through Barclays Capital Securities Limited.
Compass Group PLC intends to hold the purchased ordinary shares in treasury.
Following the above transaction, Compass Group PLC holds 12,528,692 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,644,248,690 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
