No doubt that consumer is under pressure, says Conagra CEO Sept 30 (Reuters) - Conagra Brands CAG.N CEO John Brase on Wednesday said the consumer was definitely pressured and that the packaged goods company was working to improve productivity to limit the amount of price rises for its customers.
Conagra posted a volume-led decline in first-quarter organic net sales on Wednesday, with high inflation and price-sensitive consumers hampering Brase's efforts to turn around the packaged foods maker.
