RNS Number : 6784U Concurrent Technologies PLC 27 January 2025
27 January 2025
Concurrent Technologies Plc
(the "Company" or the "Group")
Major VME Product Order from Long-Term European Customer Secured
Validating Concurrent's strategy of long-term support for the VME product line
Concurrent Technologies Plc (AIM: CNC), a designer and manufacturer of
leading-edge computer products, systems and mission critical solutions used in
high-performance markets by some of the world's major OEMs, has received a
significant order for the Company's VME-based 6U computer boards, from a
long-standing European customer, for a total value of £3.4m. The order is
scheduled to be delivered throughout 2025, 2026 and 2027.
Concurrent's VME-based 6U computer boards are designed for long-life-cycle
applications in the defence, industrial, and scientific sectors. They support
remote sensing applications by upgrading existing capabilities or extending
the lifecycle when other vendors have exited the market by making their
products end of life.
This significant commitment from the Group's long-standing European customer
underscores Concurrent's strategy of support for the VME standard, ensuring
continuity for customers reliant on reliable, backward-compatible solutions.
The order was secured in collaboration with one of Concurrent's valued
European distribution partners, further demonstrating the strength of the
Company's global sales channels and the success of its distributor engagement
initiatives, including the UK-based event held last year.
Brent Salgat, Chief Revenue Officer, commented: "This order demonstrates the
strength of our core business offering and validates our strategic decision to
maintain and enhance the VME product line for long-term customer needs. By
combining reliable legacy support with cutting-edge processor technology, we
offer a compelling value proposition that fosters customer loyalty and
reinforces our position as a trusted partner in mission-critical markets."
