** Shares of Australia's Global Oil & Gas  GLV.AX  climbed
as much as 25% to A$0.040, their highest since Feb. 18
    ** Stock posts its biggest intraday pct gain since Sept. 7 -
 set for third consecutive weekly gain at 25.8%

 helium and hydrogen operations commenced at its exploration
permit 127 in Northern Territory 
    ** Says mobilisation to site currently underway with
geo-chemical survey set to commence on Oct. 19

volume of 10.5 mln
    ** Stock closed at A$0.037; up 270% so far this year
