Outsourcing firm Conduent falls after downbeat fourth-quarter results

** Business processing outsourcing firm Conduent's CNDT.O
shares fall ~6% to $4.13 premarket
** Company reports a 16% decline in Q4 revenue to $800
million
** Posts quarterly adjusted loss per share of 15 cents vs a
profit of 3 cents per share a year ago
** Also forecasts annual adjusted revenue between $3.10
billion and $3.25 billion, the midpoint of which falls in line
with 2024 adjusted revenue of $3.18 billion
** Conduent, which was spun out of Xerox XRX.O in 2016, is
exploring a sale after receiving acquisition interest, people
familiar with the matter told Reuters last week
** CNDT rose ~11% in 2024
