Wall Street's main indexes slipped on Thursday as signs of rising tensions in the Middle East hurt risk sentiment and investors sought more clarity on Washington's recent trade deals with China. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.05% at 42,845.09. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.17% at 6,032.68, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.10% at 19,635.44.
