Wall Street's main indexes cut gains on Monday as investors assessed risks to
the banking sector following a buyout deal for Silicon Valley Bank's assets,
while a rise in Treasury yields pressured rate-sensitive technology and other
growth stocks. .N 
    
    At 11:53 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.55% at
32,413.74. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.17% at 3,977.82 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was down 0.46% at 11,770.143.
