U.S. stock index futures were higher on Friday as investors 
looked ahead to a jobs report that was expected to sharply 
rebound from the previous month, though indexes were on track 
for a second straight weekly decline. Dow Jones industrial 
average futures  1YMc1  were up 0.39 percent at 16,789, S&P 500 
futures  ESc1  were up 0.43 percent at 1,946.75 and Nasdaq 100 
futures  NQc1  were up 0.38 percent at 3,993.25.  .N

     European Union antitrust regulators approved on Friday a 
$19 billion offer by the world's most popular social network, 
for mobile messaging startup WhatsApp. 
The landmark deal is the largest in Facebook's 10-year history 
and will give it a strong foothold in the fast-growing mobile 
messaging market, pitting it against telecoms companies.

    The U.S. health insurer increased its share repurchase 
authorization by $5 billion, taking the total program to $6
