NZ's Contact Energy gains on investment in solar farm with JV partner

** Shares of Contact Energy CEN.NZ rise as much as 0.7% to
NZ$8.88, their highest level since July 8
** Energy co invests in Kōwhai Park Solar Farm in
Christchurch with its joint venture partner Lightsource bp
** Says, total construction cost of ~NZ$273 mln ($163.85
mln), with construction to begin in late 2024
** Adds, Kōwhai Park Solar Farm expected to be operational
in Q2 2026
** Stock has risen 10.1% this year as of last close
($1 = 1.6661 New Zealand dollars)
