NZ's Contact Energy to raise $317 million for renewable energy projects

Feb 16 (Reuters) - New Zealand's Contact Energy CEN.NZ said on Monday it will raise NZ$525 million ($316.89 million) for renewable energy projects. The equity raising will be via a fully-underwritten placement of NZ$450 million and a non-underwritten retail offer for up to NZ$75 million, the company said in a statement.
