("Cooks Coffee", the "Company" or the "Group")

Issue of Equity

Director Share Dealing

Cooks Coffee Company (NZX:CCC; AQUIS:COOK), the international coffee focused
café chain, announces that it has issued 221,596 ordinary shares of no par
value in the Company ("New Shares") at an issue price of NZ$0.36 (£0.18), to
raise gross proceeds of approximately NZ$79,775 (approximately £42,045),
pursuant to a shortfall placement associated with the Company's previously
announced rights issue.

 

Application will be made for the New Shares to be admitted to trading on AQSE
("Admission") and following Admission, Cooks Coffee will have 59,519,348
ordinary shares of no par value trading on the Access Segment of the AQSE
Growth Market.

Director Share Dealing

Michael Ambrose, a Director of the Company, purchased 200,000 of the New
Shares, further details of which are contained in the disclosure table
below.  Following this share purchase Michael Ambrose is interested in
950,000 ordinary shares in the Company, equating to approximately 1.60% of the
Company's issued share capital.
