USA Contract - Canada Upgrade

 

Cordel Group PLC (AIM: CRDL), the Artificial Intelligence platform for
transport corridor analytics, is pleased to announce a further upgrade of its
contract with Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (G&W), owner and lessor of more
than 100 short line and regional freight railroads in North America.

Last extended and announced on 5th March 2026, the contract has been further
extended to cover 7 regional sub-divisions across the G&W Canadian
division.  Over 1000 miles of data has already been captured, to be processed
and delivered by our AI platform within the next 2 months.

 

The processed outputs will be uploaded into G&W's enterprise Cordel
Connect platform, demonstrating the ability of our platform to extend across
the rail enterprise.

 

Ian Buddery, Chairman, Cordel, said: "Our engagement with G&W is expanding
rapidly.  Hard on the heels of last week's announcement, we are now entering
the Canada market with them.  Our LiDAR capture units continue to deliver in
some of the harshest climates from the Arctic to the desert, whilst our
recently upgraded unattended data upload via satellite and terrestrial
networks has slashed collection times.  This announcement further reinforces
the board's confidence in it's full year target."
