** Most active coking coal contract DJMcv1 on the Dalian Commodity Exchange jumped ~8% to its highest price since March 19 to 1,048.5 yuan ($146.19) a metric ton

** Peabody Energy BTU.N and Core Natural Resources CNR.N gain 11% and 9.8%, respectively

** U.S.-listed shares of BHP Group BHP.AX, BHP.N rise 2.1%

** Warrior Met Coal HCC.N up 10.2%
