Core Scientific shares tank following CoreWeave's $9 billion buyout offer

** Shares of crypto miner Core Scientific CORZ.O slump 16% to $15.13 in late morning trade

** CoreWeave CRWV.O to buy CORZ in an all-stock deal valued at about $9 billion

** The offer values Core Scientific at $20.40 per share, representing a premium of around 66% to the stock's closing price before reports of deal talks surfaced in late June

** Up to last close, CORZ jumped as much as ~48% after the report on June 26 from $12.30

** It was currently valued at $4.5 billion and traded about 25% below the all-stock per share offer price

** CRWV shares down 2.3% at $161.58
