Dealings in Costain Shares

Costain Group PLC ("the Company") announces that today, 6 September 2023, Kate
Rock, Non-Executive Chair, acquired 50,000 ordinary shares of 50 pence each in
the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at 59.20 pence per share, representing 0.018%
of the Company's issued share capital. Following the share  purchase, the
total beneficial interest of Ms Rock is 100,000 Ordinary Shares, representing
0.036% of the Company's issued share capital.
