Cowell leads slide in HK-listed Apple suppliers on Trump's tariff threat

** Shares of optical modules producer Cowell e Holdings 1415.HK lead slide in Hong Kong-listed Apple's AAPL.O suppliers, falling 3.6% to HK$21.15, their lowest since April 22

** Acoustics products maker AAC Technologies 2018.HK slips 2.4% to HK$36.85, the lowest since May 9

** U.S. President Donald Trump threatened on Friday to ratchet up his trade war again, warning Apple he may slap a 25% levy on any iPhones sold, but not made, in the U.S. as part of his administration's goal of re-shoring jobs

** Shares of mainland-listed suppliers also drop with mobile screen maker Lens Technology 300433.SZ falling as much as 4.4%, Airpod producer Goertek Inc 002241.SZ easing 3.1% and iPhones assembler Luxshare Precision Industry 002475.SS down 2.9%

** In Hong Kong, Hang Seng Tech Index .HSTECH slips 0.5%, Hang Seng Index .HSI slips 0.3%

** In China, the blue-chip CSI 300 Index .CSI300 slips 0.02% while the Shanghai Composite Index .SSEC gains 0.4%
