Award of nil-cost option

The Company announces that on 1 July 2023 a nil-cost option was granted under
the Cranswick 2018 Deferred Bonus Plan (the "Plan") to Christopher Aldersley,
a director of the Company, over 2619 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the
Company. The nil-cost option represents the portion of Mr Aldersley's bonus
earned in respect of the Company's 2022/2023 financial year which is deferred
into shares for two years in accordance with the Directors' Remuneration
Policy.
