LONDON, June 12 (Reuters) - A committee that reviews
disputes in the credit default swaps (CDS) market said on Monday
that it was asked to address a question of whether there is a
successor to Credit Suisse Group.
This comes on the day that UBS completed its merger with
Credit Suisse. The panel has yet to confirm whether it will
accept the question. CSGN5YEUAM=MG
The question raised suggests that some investors may be
exploring ways to get a payout on Credit Suisse's CDS from the
new merged bank after previous requests had been ruled against.
