Swiss stocks - Factors to watch on June 9

ZURICH/BERLIN, June 9 (Reuters) - Here are some of the
main factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Friday:
    
    
  
    Swiss National Bank Chairman Thomas Jordan repeated his
commitment to fight "stubborn" inflation on Thursday in his
final public appearance before the central bank announces its
next interest rate decision.
    
    CREDIT SUISSE  CSGN.S 
    Credit Suisse  CSGN.S  and a joint venture partner are
seeking buyers for their China securities brokerage business due
to the Swiss bank's takeover by rival UBS  UBSG.S , said two
people with direct knowledge of the matter. 
    
    Credit Suisse loses two more investment bankers in US to
rivals Deutsche Bank and Barclays.
    
    A group of Japanese investors are planning to file lawsuits
against some brokerages based in the country, including
Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities, over their sale of AT1
bonds issued by Credit Suisse Group AG  CSGN.S , Nikkei reported
on Friday.

    Novartis'  NOVN.S  soon-to-be spun off generics division
Sandoz is betting on biosimilars, copies of high-priced drugs
used to treat illnesses such as rheumatoid arthritis and cancer,
to fuel its future as a standalone company, executives said on
Thursday.
    
    GLENCORE  GLEN.L 
    U.S. grains merchant Bunge Ltd BG.N is putting the final
touches on a deal to merge with Glencore Plc GLEN.L-backed peer
Viterra and create an agricultural trading giant worth more than
$30 billion, including debt, people familiar with the matter
said on Thursday.
