Death of a non-executive director
It is with the greatest regret that the Board announces that Mary Carney, one of the Company's non-executive directors, sadly passed away on Tuesday 19th November. Mary had been a director for over 20 years, having first joined the board on 4th November 1999.
During this time, she has served on and chaired both the audit and remuneration committees, and with Mr McIlroy, the Chairman, was jointly one of our longest serving directors, having helped steer the Company through the challenges we faced during the early 2000s, the successful acquisition and integration of the Potter & Moore and later the Broad Oak businesses and subsequent growth of the Company's operations and our return to profitability.
