May 7 (Reuters) - Poland's Creotech Instruments CRI1.WA unveiled a new 2026-2029 strategy on Thursday, under which it aims to become one of Europe's top-four prime satellite contractors, with expansion funded by a planned share issue of around 100 million euros ($117 million).
The strategy aims to capitalize on Poland's investments in the European space sector, after Warsaw increased its contribution to the European Space Agency to 731 million euros to secure more advanced contracts for its domestic industry.
The Polish satellite maker plans to quadruple its production capacity and expand its product portfolio to reach its goal
It plans to increase annual production from the current 10 satellites to more than 40
It will also develop platforms for heavier satellites weighing up to 500 kg, up from its current 100 kg limit
Creotech will seek to consolidate the market through selective acquisitions and joint ventures to become the largest space sector player in Central and Eastern Europe
