Weds as co poised to join S&P SmallCap 600 index .SPCY this
week
** CRGY hits over 2-mth high and on track for biggest
one-day pct gain since May 7
** Houston-based oil and gas producer to join SPCY effective
before market open on Fri (Oct 4), S&P Dow Jones said after the
bell Tues
** Crescent to replace digital consultancy firm Perficient
Inc PRFT.O , which is being acquired by Swedish private equity
firm EQT AB EQTAB.ST
** Even with gain on the session, CRGY down 7% YTD
** 8 of 10 analysts covering stock rate it "strong buy" or
"buy", rest "hold" with median PT of $16, down from $18 a month
ago, per LSEG data
