Critical Metals rises on deal to acquire European Lithium

** Shares of rare earth miner Critical Metals CRML.O rise 8.2% to $12.46 premarket

** CRML to acquire all outstanding shares of European Lithium EUR.AX in a deal valued at about $835 million

** Under the deal, European Lithium shareholders would receive 0.035 shares of Critical Metals for each share held

** Through this deal, CRML is positioned to own 100% of the Tanbreez mine in Greenland

** As of last close, CRML up 65.8% YTD
