Critical Metals surges as Greenland approves mining license transfer

** Shares of rare earth miner Critical Metals CRML.O up 23% at $11.35 premarket

** Greenlandic ministry of mineral resources and business has approved indirect transfer of mining license for Tanbreez Mining after CRML last year increased its stake in the rare earths developer

** According to the ministry, indirect transfer means ownership of company holding license changes, while license itself remains registered with same company

** As of last close, CRML up 33.6% YTD
