Suedzucker sees Q3 operating result 'significantly' above prior year's level

Nov 15 (Reuters) - Europe's largest sugar refiner
Suedzucker  SZUG.DE  said on Wednesday it expected group
operating result in the third quarter to be significantly higher
than the previous year's level, driven by a positive development
in the sugar segment.
    The company also confirmed its outlook for the full fiscal
year 2023/24.
    Earlier on Wednesday, Suedzucker's unit CropEnergies
 CE2G.DE  lowered its full-year outlook, citing a sharp decline
in ethanol prices since the beginning of November.
