HK-listed NWS hits 8-week high on sale of aircraft leasing business

** Shares of NWS Holdings Ltd  0659.HK , the transportation
services arm of New World Development  0017.HK , climb 3.8% to
HK$7.38, their biggest daily pct rise since March 17  
    ** Stock on track third consecutive session of gains
    ** Aircraft lessor SMBC Aviation Capital agreed on Monday to
buy smaller rival Goshawk Aviation for an enterprise value of
$6.7 bln in a deal it said would make it the world's second

    ** Dublin-based Goshawk, a 50-50 joint venture between NWS
and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, was set up less than a decade ago
and its shareholders said it was selling at an attractive
valuation
    ** SMBC is owned by a consortium including Japan's Sumitomo
Corp  8053.T  and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group  8316.T 
    * Stocks hits highest since March 21
    ** The Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index  .HSNC  jump 3.1%
and the Hang Seng Composite Index tracking industrials  .HSCIIG 
surges 2.8%
    ** The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index  .HSCE  rises 2.5%
and the benchmark Hang Seng Index  .HSI  climbs 2.2%
