HK-listed NWS jumps most in 17 years after strong HY earnings, special dividend

** Shares of NWS Holdings Ltd  0659.HK  jump 21.8% to
HK$8.98, the biggest intraday pct gain since August 2007 
    ** Stock hits the highest since Nov 23, and is the
second-biggest pct gainer in the Hang Seng Composite Index
 .HSCI  
    ** The construction-to-logistics business operator says its
overall attributable operating profit for six months ended in
December increased 19% YoY to HK$2.13 bln ($272.17 mln) with net
profit up 18% YoY to HK$1.01 bln
    ** Co, with current market value of $4.38 bln, declares a
one-off special dividend of HK$1.79 per share to shareholders
    ** Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index  .HSNC  slips 0.2%, 
Hang Seng Composite Index eases 0.1% and Hang Seng Index  .HSI 
down 0.3%
    ** NWS stock up 18.8% YTD
