Adds CEO quote and dividend details in last two paragraphs
March 27 (Reuters) - German ticketing firm CTS Eventim EVDG.DE, on Thursday, forecast a moderate rise in total revenue and adjusted EBITDA in 2025, driven by strength in its ticketing business.
In February, CTS reported 19% revenue growth to 2.81 billion euros ($3.03 billion) for 2024, with adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) increasing about 22% to 542 million euros, on strength in its ticketing and live entertainment segments.
The company, a leader in the European ticketing and live entertainment market, said it expects the volume of retail tickets this year to be significantly higher than last year's 147.2 million.
"Rising demand, organic growth, ongoing synergies and a successful international acquisition policy are the pillars of our robust growth," CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg said in a statement.
CTS's board also proposed an all-time high dividend payout of 159.3 million euros, or 1.66 euros per share, up from 1.43 euros per share last year and representing 50% of net income.
