** Shares of oil and gas firm Cue Energy  CUE.AX  rise as
much as 6.1% to A$0.105
    ** Says co and its Mereenie joint venture partners entered
into a supply agreement with Power and Water Corporation
    ** Says deal for the supply of up to 8.6 petajoules (PJ) of
gas till the end of 2024
    ** Stock up 96.5% so far this year, as of last close
