** Infrastructure financing firm REC  RECM.NS  hits record
high, before easing to trade up 2%
    ** REC among 5 stocks to be added to India's BSE 100 index
 .BSE100 , effective June 24
    ** Among others, HDFC Asset Management Co  HDFA.NS  gains
~4%
    ** Engine maker Cummins India  CUMM.NS  and Punjab National
Bank  PNBK.NS  up 1.8% and 1.6%, respectively
    ** Canara Bank  CNBK.NS  bucks trend, shedding 0.3%
    ** Three of five stocks to be removed are in the red
    ** SBI Cards and Payment Services  SBIC.NS , ICICI
Prudential Life Insurance  ICIR.NS  and ZEE Entertainment
 ZEE.NS  lose between 0.3% and 1.12%
