CureVac up on promising data from flu and COVID-19 mRNA based vaccine

** U.S.-listed shares of CureVac N.V  CVAC.O  rise 6.8% to
$12.16
    ** Drugmaker says preliminary data from an early-stage trial
of its experimental mRNA based flu vaccine was well tolerated,
and showed promise against preventing flu in older adults aged

    ** CVAC's monovalent modified mRNA vaccine, CV0501, also
successfully boosted antibody production against COVID-19 BA.1
and ancestral variants in adults age ≥65, preliminary data from
early stage trial showed

COVID and flu vaccine candidate in collaboration with GSK plc
 GSK.L  in 2023
