Appointment of Rune Bjerke as a Non-Executive Director

 

Currys plc (the 'Company') is pleased to announce the appointment of Rune
Bjerke as an Independent Non-Executive Director and a member of the Audit
committee with effect from 8 September 2025.

 

Rune is Chair of Norsk Hydro and Wallenius Wilhelmsen and a non-executive
director of Reitan Retail. He has had an extensive career in international
energy and banking corporations in Norway, having previously held positions as
chief executive officer of DNB, Hafslund and Scancem International, advisor at
the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and city commissioner of
finance in the city cabinet of Oslo.  Rune has formerly served as a
non-executive director at Fremtind, Vipps and Schibsted.

 

Rune is a Norwegian national with a degree in economics from the University of
Oslo and a master's degree in public administration from Harvard University.

Non-Executive Director. Rune has a strong record of business leadership and a
deep knowledge of the Nordics markets and will bring extensive international
experience and constructive challenge to the Board, especially in relation to

There is no additional information that requires disclosure under UK Listing
Rule 6.4.8.

The Group is scheduled to publish its interim results for 26 weeks ending 1
