Dec 1 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100  .FTSE  index is seen
opening higher on Wednesday with futures  FFIc1  up 0.62%. 
   
    * HOUSE PRICES: Asking prices for British residential
property are likely to rise by 5% next year, but London looks
set to underperform the national trend, the country's largest

    * UK RETAILERS: British retailers increased their prices for
the first time in more than two years in November as the
coronavirus pandemic hit global supply chains, limited staff
availability and pushed up inflation for shoppers, a survey

    * SHELL: A U.S. national security review has delayed the
sale of Royal Dutch Shell's  RDSa.L  controlling interest in a

    * BOE: The final batch of post-financial crisis bank capital
rules will be introduced in Britain before or at the same time

    * GOLD: Gold edged higher, hovering close to a one-month
