** U.S. banks shares rise as Wall Street rallies, driving
benchmark S&P 500 index  .SPX  to record high
    ** JPMorgan Chase  JPM.N , Bank of America  BAC.N , Wells
Fargo  WFC.N  and Morgan Stanley  MS.N  up between ~1% and 1.7%;
Goldman Sachs  GS.N  up 0.5% 
    ** Mid-sized lenders Western Alliance Bancorp  WAL.N , Fifth
Third Bancorp  FITB.O , Huntington Bancshares  HBAN.O , Comerica
 CMA.N , Citizens Financial Group  CFG.N , Customers Bancorp
 CUBI.N  rise between 1.8% and ~2.5%   
    ** U.S. business activity picked up in January, while
inflation appeared to cool - S&P Global survey
    ** S&P 500 Banks Index  .SPXBK  up ~1.3%, while KBW Regional
Banking Index  .KRX  rises 1.4%
