ROME, April 29 (Reuters) - Italy's state lender Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) has no plans to divest from payments group Nexi NEXII.Mi, people familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.
The Financial Times wrote on Tuesday private equity firm CVC Capital CVC.AS was weighing a 9 billion euro ($10.53 billion)deal for the Italian payments group.
Treasury-controlled CDP owns around 19% of Nexi through its unit CDP Equity.
