    Italy's government on Saturday ramped up restrictions in
five of the country's 20 regions in an effort to head off a rise
in COVID-19 cases as scientists warned of a growing prevalence

    The Italian infrastructure group said on Friday an offer
filed by a consortium of investors led by state lender CDP for
its 88% stake in Autostrade per l'Italia (ASPI) fell short of
the mark and asked its top managers to see if the bid could be

    Florentino Perez, Chairman of Spain's ACS  ACS.MC , said on
Friday the company would study all road investments
opportunities in Europe, including Autostrade per l'Italia.
Perez also said that ACS would sign the sale its Cobra unit in
March, a deal that would bring more than 5 billion euros in the

    Italy Infrastructure Minister Enrico Giovannini on Sunday
said he hoped for a rapid conclusion of the negotiations. "We
have to get out of uncertainty and define the rules under which,
from now on, ASPI and the other motorway operators will invest
more in safety, maintenance and innovation," he told daily
newspaper La Stampa.

    The Italian aerospace and defence group on Friday filed for
the initial public offering (IPO) of its DRS unit on the New
York Stock Exchange, adding it aimed to complete the listing by

    The luxury carmaker's board on Friday proposed a dividend of
0.867 euros per share on 2020 results, corresponding to a total

downgrade the 'Baa2' rating of Italy's second-largest toll road
operator, changing the outlook to 'under review' from
'negative'. Moody's said the move was driven by the potential
significant increase in ASTM's leverage following the buyout

    The Serie A club posted a loss of 75 million euros in the
six months through December, down from 87 million euros a year
before, and said it was ditching the 'Tor di Valle' stadium

    Credit Agricole Italy  CAGR.MI , which has built a 16.5%
stake in Creval conditional on the ECB allowing it to go above
10%, could seek to reach a 20% holding and retain it even if its
takeover bid is unsuccessful, la Repubblica reported on
