Liberty Ostrava buys two Danieli furnaces worth $352 mln (updated)

    PRAGUE, July 8 (Reuters) - Liberty Ostrava signed a deal
with Italy's Danieli  DANI.MI  on Friday for two hybrid electric
arc furnaces worth 8.6 billion crowns ($352 million), the Czech
steel producer said.
    The new furnaces will have the annual combined steel
production capacity of 3.5 million tonnes, and they are expected
to be fully operational in 2025, Liberty said.
