European defence stocks rise on Trump's threat of new US tariffs

** European military equipment makers' shares rise 2–5% after U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday threatened new tariffs on countries opposing the acquisition of Greenland

** Nordic groups Saab SAABb.ST, Kongsberg Gruppen KOG.OL are up 2-4%

** French defence companies THales,TCFP.PA Dassault Aviation,AM.PA Exail Technologies,  Exosens EXENS.PA rise around 1.2-2.6%

** Italy's Leonardo LDOF.MI is up 3%, Germany's Renk R3NK.DE rises 3.5%
** Trump said additional 10% import tariffs would take effect on February 1 on goods from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland and Great Britain

** The European Aerospace and Defence index .SXPARO edges up 0.2%, against the pan-European index .STOXX falling 0.9%
