** Meme stocks fall in high volumes premarket amid a broad
risk-off mood, led by Exela Technologies  XELA.O , down 16.7% at
$2.74
    ** XELA falls after more than doubling in value since last
week that saw its shares trade in record volumes
    ** About 1.90 mln XELA shares change hands, second most
active stock across U.S. exchanges as of 6 a.m. ET 
    ** Retail darlings AMC Entertainment  AMC.N  and GameStop
 GME.N , which are off their June peaks, fall 8.3% and 5.4%,
respectively
    ** Newegg Commerce  NEGG.O  tumbles 12%, while Bsquare
 BSQR.O , Orbsat Corp  OSAT.O , Data Storage Corp  DTST.O ,
ContextLogic Inc  WISH.O , Bridgeline Digital  BLIN.O  drop
between 7% and 15%
    ** U.S. stock index futures dropped more than 1% on fears
over growing spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant  .N
