Datalex renews partnership with Edelweiss, announces digital transformation
acceleration

 

This renewal extends the Datalex and Edelweiss partnership for another 5 years
to transform Edelweiss's digital retailing strategy

 

Dublin, Ireland 10 May 2023: Datalex plc ("Datalex", the "Company" or the
"Group") (Euronext Growth Dublin: DLE), a market leader in digital airline
retail products and software solutions, today announces the renewal of its
partnership with Swiss airline, Edelweiss. As part of this renewal, Datalex
will lead a brand-new digital transformation plan that will see the carrier
move to Datalex's latest version of its product suite to accelerate the
airline's digital retailing strategy. This renewal extends Datalex's
longstanding partnership with Edelweiss Airlines for a further 5 years.

 

Edelweiss is a sister company of Swiss International Air Lines and services
more than 80 destinations from its base at Zurich. This latest partnership
renewal follows Datalex's recently announced renewals with Air China, Air
Transat and JetBlue and addition of LATAM Airlines as new customer.

 

As part of this renewal, Edelweiss will benefit from Datalex's product suite
to drive greater airline retail excellence across all channels. The initial
phase of the digital transformation plan will see Datalex's software support
omni-channel excellence for Edelweiss's direct channel through Datalex Direct,
in addition to providing enhanced capabilities for ancillary merchandising
through the Datalex Merchandiser product. To ensure real-time control and
reactivity, the renewal will include access to Datalex's Digital Configurator
tool which will give the Edelweiss team more autonomy to drive its digital
retailing strategy.

 

Edelweiss's Chief Executive Officer Bernd Bauer said: "Datalex's product suite

Edelweiss's Head Office in Zurich, Switzerland, Datalex CEO Sean Corkery said:
