The following factors could affect Italian markets on Friday.

    ECONOMY
    ISTAT releases October retail sales data (0900 GMT).
    Bank of Italy releases November data on Target 2 liabilities
and European Central Bank funding to Italian banks.
    
    DEBT
    Treasury announces sale of 12-month BOT bills, with relative
amounts to be auctioned on Dec. 11.
    
    COMPANIES
    UNICREDIT  CRDI.MI 
    Italy has limited scope to intervene in the lender's swoop
for smaller rival Banco BPM  BAMI.MI  through its "golden
powers", which some ministers see as a way to have leverage over
the deal, people close to the matter told Reuters.
    
    INSURERS
    Italy is planning to postpone a deadline for companies to
take out insurance against natural disasters by three months to
March 2025, according to a draft decree seen by Reuters.
   
    DATALOGIC  DAL.MI 
    Workers at Italy's Datalogic plan a series of stoppages
during December and January in response to the company's failure
to increase wages and reduce working hours, unions said on
Thursday.
    
    STELLANTIS  STLAM.MI 
    The automaker and Zeta Energy announced on Thursday a joint
development agreement to advance battery cell technology for
electric vehicle applications.
    
    LEONARDO  LDOF.MI 
    European missile and defence technology consortium MBDA and
the Italian aerospace and defence company signed a memorandum of
understanding on Thursday to collaboratively produce Directed
Energy Fire Units. The venture will integrate solutions
developed by MBDA into laser weapon systems, according to a
statement.
