Wall Street's main indexes gained on Wednesday as investors turned more
optimistic about rate cuts from the Federal Reserve early next year, after data
showed further signs of a cooling jobs market. .N

36,207.81. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.17% at 4,575.17 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 0.08% at 14,241.988.
