India's D.B. Corp climbs on qtrly profit jump

** Shares of Indian consumer publishing company DB Corp
 DBCL.NS  rise 5% to 293.35 rupees
    ** Co reported a more-than-two-fold jump in March-qtr
consolidated profit on Wednesday to 1.23 billion rupees ($14.8
million), as expenses contract
    ** Qtrly revenue rose 16.2% to 6.17 billion rupees from an
year earlier
    ** Stock is set to gain for a fourth consecutive session, if
trend holds
    ** Stock up ~9.7% YTD; had gained ~116.7% in 2023 - its
biggest yearly gain since listing
