Nasdaq 
    ** SLRX says it is voluntarily pausing new patient
enrollment in an early-to-mid stage clinical trial of its lead
cancer drug candidate, seclidemstat, due to a patient death

    ** The death in the trial, among patients with Ewing sarcoma
and similar cancers, was classified as a 'suspected unexpected
serious adverse reaction', says co
    ** SLRX says it has informed the FDA about the adverse event
and plans to further analyse available data; co reiterated that
it expects to release interim trial results later this year
    ** Up to last close, stock is down 60% YTD vs a 31.8%
decline in the Nasdaq Composite index  .IXIC
