Delta to offer sports game on flights with DraftKings but no betting WASHINGTON, July 29 (Reuters) - Delta Air Lines DAL.N said Wednesday it will offer a sports prediction game on flights in a partnership with sports betting company DraftKings DKNG.O, but will not allow gambling.
The airline said the game will be open to passengers 21 and older and allow players to win Delta gift cards but does not include betting, deposit functionality, buy-in, or financial risk. Last year, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal urged the companies not to allowing gambling on board, citing a 1962 law that outlaws gambling on commercial aircraft.
