ECONOMY
Italy should be taking tougher action to deal with its
deficit and debt levels, the head of the International Monetary
Fund said in an interview published online on Thursday.
DEBT
Italy's Treasury said on Thursday it would offer 7.5 billion
euros in six-month bills at an auction on Nov. 28.
Treasury announces sale of BTP and CCTeu bonds, with
relative amounts to be auctioned on Nov. 29.

Italy's Eni will invest $10 billion in the development of
the Baleine field offshore Ivory Coast, which will take place in
three phases from 2023 to 2027, Energy Minister Mamadou
Sangafowa Coulibaly said on Thursday.
BANKS
Italian banks and the sector's unions on Thursday signed a
new labour contract that will increase workers' pay on average
by a gross 435 euros a month starting from December, the main
banking union said.

The lender said on Thursday it had named Vittorio Pignatti
Morano and Sabrina Pucci as deputy chairpersons.
STATE-CONTROLLED COMPANIES
The sale of a 25% stake in Monte dei Paschi di Siena
BMPS.MI by Italy's Treasury earlier this week could serve as a
template for Rome's strategy to cut its stake in other
state-controlled companies, Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti
said on Thursday.
Answering to whether resorting to an accelerated
book-building could be an option to cut the government holding
in Poste Italiane PST.MI , Giorgetti said that the placement is
a tool that "is envisaged for many things".
STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
Stellantis will lift its 2030 revenue target for its
recycling and reconditioning unit after its revenue grew 25% so
far this year, the automaker's CEO said on Thursday, adding that
the business would help make electric vehicles more affordable.
