Emirates sees strong Berlin demand, keeps capacity despite Middle East conflict

BERLIN, June 9 (Reuters) - Emirates expects strong demand for flights to and from Berlin and is seeking approval to launch services to the German capital, its president Tim Clark said on Tuesday, as the airline keeps capacity steady despite the Middle East conflict. 
Clark said Emirates had no plans to cut operations and was continuing to route large numbers of passengers through its Dubai hub to destinations including India and Australia, while taking precautions such as carrying extra fuel.
He said Emirates was confident it could keep its network running smoothly, was not worried about the extra costs of the changes and would continue to invest for growth.
