ROME, May 5 (Reuters) - ITA Airways has no plans to cut its flights amid rising jet fuel prices, its chief executive said on Tuesday, adding that the group has 80% of its fuel needs covered for the rest of the year.
The Italian carrier, part of the Lufthansa group LHAG.DE, is, however, looking at increasing ticket prices this year between 5% and 10% in order to compensate the surge in fuel costs due to the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran, CEO Joerg Eberhart said.
