Lufthansa Q3 results meet expectations, bogged down by high jet fuel costs By Joanna Plucinska
LONDON, Nov 3 (Reuters) - German airline group Lufthansa LHAG.DE on Tuesday reported third quarter results broadly in line with expectations as it has struggled to grapple with the spiralling cost of jet fuel in the wake of the Iran war, despite extensive hedging.
The company reported an operating profit of 1.4 billion euros for its third quarter, compared to a company-compiled analyst projection of 1.37 billion euros.
